Blair writes fantasy—adventurous, epic, military, and dark.  Her debut novel Sword and Chant was included in the first Indie Fantasy Bundle through StoryBundle, and her more recent novel Sand of Bone was included in the 2015 Fantasy Bundle.

Her short fiction has appeared in Cicada and Writers of the Future.  She is a graduate of Viable Paradise, a member of SFWA, and a bundle curator for StoryBundle.

She also speaks and teaches workshops on a variety of topics—failure and resilience, parenting,  martial arts, education, wellness—for audiences ranging from a couple dozen to a few thousand.  Most evenings, you can find her training or teaching martial arts.  In between all that, Blair hikes and camps, grows organic produce, and indulges in the occasional ziplining excursion.  She loves traveling to places both wild and domesticated.  She currently lives in Colorado.

  1. Hi Blair! I got Sword and Chant (as well as The Key) from the StoryBundle and loved them! I just left a 5-star review over at B&N. (Actually I left 2 of them, since my first attempt just put it in as an anonymous 5-star with no text, so I tried again a second time. Hopefully it will show up.)

By the way, it looks like you first put in S&C at 6.99, then changed it to 2.99 the next day. However, when you search on it, it shows up only the 6.99 version and you have to click on a separate link to get to the 2.99 version. You may want to remove the 6.99 version completely, as people are going to think that that is the only price. (I certainly did, until I spotted the extra link).

Good luck in your endeavors. I’ll be watching for more books from you!

    1. Linda, I’m so glad you enjoyed them! Thank you so much for letting me know, and thank you for leaving a review. Both of those things mean so much!

The double-listing for S&C is a glitch on BN’s part that just recently showed up, weird date-stamps and all. I suspect it has something to do with the fact they’re now running two ebook platforms side by side. My “author bookshelf” gives me access to only one of the listings, and I’ve gone in to yet again adjust the price so at least the two “versions” are the same. 🙂

Thank you for your good wishes, and I hope you’ll find upcoming projects just as entertaining!

  2. Shakespeare….niiiiice. We have a number of commonalities. I’m big on holistic health. Though I’m a helpless writer, I wish my brain worked like yours…Sword and Chant could never come out of me. =)
